Congratulations to our Humanities and Social Science faculty members on their outstanding success in the 2026–27 funding round from Hong Kong’s Research Grants Council!

A total of 14 projects have been awarded, with a combined funding of HK$6,440,483 to support innovative research across the humanities and social sciences.

Together, these projects highlight the breadth and diversity of SHSS research, spanning history, philosophy, social policy, migration, finance, innovation, and emerging technologies. They reflect strong scholarly contributions and a wide range of research interests across the faculty.
