Innovating Language Education: CLE Showcases Work at Learning and Teaching Expo 2026
From 25 to 27 June 2026, the Centre for Language Education (CLE) brought its curriculum initiatives, microlearning resources and funded projects to the Learning and Teaching Expo 2026 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai — connecting with students, parents, HKUST alumni, educators and government officials over three days.
At the CLE booth, visitors explored how the Center is shaping language education at the tertiary level in the AI era, speaking directly with CLE teaching faculty on innovative pedagogies and approaches to language education.

Both sessions sparked lively discussion on emerging approaches to teaching and learning, student learning experiences, and how courses and student communities can work together to create richer educational experiences.
CLE’s appearance in the Expo reflects its continued commitment to advancing innovation in language education — and to sharing that work beyond the university.
