Join us as we celebrate the installation of Prof. Wei Shyy as president of HKUST with a very special concert event at 8pm Thursday 15 November, 2018 in CMA Lecture Theater (LTL) on the campus of HKUST!
Acclaimed composer, conductor, and pianist, Prof. Bright Sheng (IAS Helmut and Anna Pao Sohmen Professor-at-Large), is joined by the dynamic 6-wire and special guest, Gabriel Cabezas. This short, eclectic program features the Asian premiere of Prof. Sheng’s Clearwater Rhapsody (being performed at Carnegie Hall in Feb 2019), along with familiar favorites.
