School of Humanities and Social Science comprises three divisions – the Division of Humanities, the Division of Social Science and the Center for Language Education.
Your exchange at HKUST may be up to two terms, subject to the approval of Undergraduate/Postgraduate Academic Program Committee, School of Humanities and Social Science, HKUST.

Eligibilities
Full-time students currently enrolled in a Bachelor, Master or PhD program at a tertiary institution that has student exchange agreement with the School of Humanities and Social Science, HKUST.

Application Procedures
Action 1 Submit the application form and supporting documents
For Undergraduate students, once your home university nominates you to us, you will be given the access right to our online system to create your own profile. Please submit an online application as instructed via MyStudyAbroad .
For Postgraduate students, please apply via online system for Postgraduate Programs. Please be reminded to plan ahead and consult your academic advisor for your study plan.
Action 2 Forward the application materials to us via your home university
For Undergraduate students, you should upload the required documents as instructed via MyStudyAbroad .
For Postgraduate students, you should upload the required documents as instructed via online system for Postgraduate Programs. Please note that direct application from the student will not be accepted.
Action 3 Complete other required forms once you are accepted for exchange at our university
For Undergraduate students, you can download your offer letter via MyStudyAbroad once you are successfully accepted by us after the application deadline. Upon accepting our offer, you will be able to download the relevant registration package via MyStudyAbroad and return the hardcopy to us on or before the stipulated deadline to the specific mailing address stated in the package.
For Postgraduate students, you can download your offer letter via online system for Postgraduate Programs once you are successfully accepted by us 2~3 weeks after the application deadline. Upon accepting our offer, you will be informed how to apply the exchange student insurance and upload the e-certificate to us on or before the stipulated deadline on the system.
