Dual Bachelors Degree

HKUST – Waseda Dual Degree Program

 

High flyers of the GCS & QSA UG major students will have an opportunity to achieve two degrees from two internationally recognized universities, HKUST and Waseda, over 4.5 years. Annually at most two successful candidates can further pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Economics, or Global Political Economy at the School of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. Waseda’s School of Political Science and Economics emphasizes global education and training of leaders with a global perspective.

 

• First 3 Years at HKUST
• 1.5 to 2 Years of resident study at Waseda
• Students are not allowed to take a leave of absence in

 

• Year 2 students with CGA of 3.5 or above at the time of application
• A minimum TOEFL score (PBT 550 / CBT 213/ iBT 80), or IELTS 6.0
• JLPT N1 for enrolling courses in Japanese (strongly advised)

 

• Complete all required courses during the first three years of registration at HKUST, including Capstone Project and/or Research at HKUST
• 64 credits at Waseda

 

• Tuition fee and academic fees to Waseda are exempted
• Students need to pay housing fees
