▌Top-up Scholarships by the School

The School of Humanities and Social Science will offer a special School Scholarship Top-up Scheme for local JUPAS students admitted into our BSc Quantitative Social Analysis program in 2022-23. Eligible students will receive top-up scholarships from this scheme by our School in addition to any scholarships offered by the University under the University’s scholarship scheme that they have been awarded.

For HKDSE:

Local JUPAS students attaining Level 5** in one or more subjects in one single sitting of HKDSE will be eligible for our School’s top-up scholarships (for students admitted in 2022).

 

For students who attain 5** in at least one subject:

HKDSE Subject Requirement School Top-up + University Scholarship Scheme Total Amount
6 subjects with 5** “Full tuition + HK$55,000” renewable for 4 years; One-off OLE Scholarship of $40,000
5 subjects with 5** “Full tuition + HK$55,000” renewable for 4 years; One-off OLE Scholarship of $20,000
4 subjects with 5** “Full tuition + HK$27,500” renewable for 4 years; One-off OLE Scholarship of $20,000
3 subjects with 5** Full tuition renewable for 4 years
2 subjects with 5** Full tuition renewable for 2 years
1 subjects with 5** Half tuition renewable for 2 years

 

Remarks:
1. The Overseas Learning Experience (OLE) Scholarship is aimed at supporting students to participate in one of the School of Humanities and Social Science’s overseas co-curricular programs, for example, overseas exchange, overseas internships, etc. during their study at HKUST School of Humanities of Social Science. The scholarship award does not automatically entitle awardees to participation in these co-curricular programs. Awardees who wish to participate in such programs have to apply through the normal channels and are subject to the same selection process and requirements as other students.
